1. Purpose
This Refund and Withdrawal Policy outlines the conditions, procedures, and responsibilities related to refund, withdrawal, deferment, and termination of studies at McTecc International Academy(“McTecc”).
2. Refund Conditions
- Withdrawal before 30 days of course commencement: 80% of the paid tuition will be refunded; 20% will be retained as an administrative fee.
- Course cancellation by McTecc: 100% of the paid tuition will be refunded.
- Course discontinued after commencement: Refunds will be made based on the proportion of uncompleted classes.
- Refunds must be acknowledged and signed by the student.
- Refunds will be issued by the original payment method or cheque.
- No refund shall be made under any other circumstances.
3. Course Retake and Non-Refundable Fees
If a student fails a course, they must retake it and pay the prescribed fees before attending. Failure to attend a registered course does not entitle a refund or deferment.
4. Course Deferment
Students may apply for deferment prior to course commencement with valid justification (e.g., medical or personal reasons).

- Specify the semester and course to be deferred.
- Submit the completed form by email to info@mcteccacademy.com.
- The Administration Department will seek approval from the respective program head.
- Students will be notified of the result via email or phone. Approved deferment before the start of term will not appear on transcripts, and fees will be carried forward to the next term. After course commencement, deferment applications will not normally be accepted, unless under exceptional circumstances.
5. Withdrawal Procedures
Students wishing to withdraw must complete and submit the Withdrawal Form with supporting documents to info@mcteccacademy.com.

- The official withdrawal date will be based on the date the Registrar receives the form.
- Students who leave without completing the proper procedures will be considered unauthorised withdrawals. • Absence from class does not constitute formal withdrawal.
- The Finance Department will notify students by email once the refund is processed.
- Students who withdraw before completing their studies and later wish to reapply for a new program will be treated as new applicants. They must submit a new application form, provide all supporting documents, and pay the registration fee.
- Students who have completed a program and later apply for a new one must also complete new registration procedures and pay the corresponding registration fee.

7. Termination and Expulsion
McTecc reserves the right to terminate a student’s enrollment due to serious disciplinary breaches, poor academic performance, or repeated absenteeism.
Students failing the same course four times (including appeals) will be automatically expelled.
McTecc may deny re-enrollment for students expelled for academic dishonesty or misconduct. All paid fees are non-refundable in such cases.

8. General Notes
Tuition fees are charged per course and are subject to adjustment according to the next academic term. Deferred students are required to follow the updated course structure and policies.
McTecc encourages students to consult the Student Counselor before making a withdrawal decision.
