1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using McTecc International Academy (“McTecc”) websites, portals, and digital platforms, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use(“Terms”). These Terms apply to all visitors, students, and affiliates who access McTecc’s online resources.
McTecc reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you should discontinue access immediately.
2. Use License
McTecc International Academy grants a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to access and use the website for personal, educational, and non-commercial purposes. This license does not transfer ownership or intellectual property rights.
Under this license, users shall not:

All contents, including text, graphics, logos, videos, software, and design elements, are owned or licensed by McTecc and protected under the Copyright Ordinance (Cap. 528) and relevant international laws.
Users must not reproduce, republish, or distribute any part of the website for commercial or derivative purposes without written permission. Requests for use should be addressed to the McTecc Communications Office.
4. User Account and Password Responsibility
Users with registered accounts are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login details. Activities performed under an account are presumed to be conducted by the account holder. McTecc will not be liable for unauthorised access resulting from weak or shared passwords.
If you suspect your account has been compromised, you must notify McTecc immediately for a security investigation and password reset.
5. Prohibited Conduct
- Uploading, transmitting, or distributing malicious code, spam, or unauthorised advertising;
- Attempting to hack, decompile, or gain unauthorised access to systems or databases;
- Posting or sharing content that is defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, or infringes intellectual property or privacy rights;
- Misrepresenting your identity, impersonating McTecc personnel, or claiming false affiliation;
- Using McTecc’s name, logo, or materials for unauthorised commercial or political purposes.
Violation of these rules may result in disciplinary action or permanent suspension under Section 9.
6. Disclaimer
McTecc’s website and all related services are provided “as is” without any warranties, express or implied. McTecc does not guarantee that the website will always be secure, error-free, or continuously available. Information provided is for general reference only and does not constitute professional or academic advice.
7. Limitation of Liability
McTecc, its staff, or affiliates shall not be held responsible for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from use of the website, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
8. Links to External Sites
McTecc may provide hyperlinks to third-party websites for educational or reference purposes. These links are provided for convenience only. McTecc does not endorse or assume responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of external sites.
9. Suspension and Termination of Access
- Violation of these Terms of Use or other institutional policies;
- Actions that compromise system security, integrity, or the learning environment;
- Misuse of accounts, impersonation, or fraudulent activity;
- Legal requests or compliance with regulatory obligations.
McTecc may suspend or terminate access without prior notice where immediate action is necessary to protect its operations or other users. Users who believe their access was suspended in error may contact info@mcteccacademy.com for review.
10. Personal Data and Privacy
McTecc is committed to protecting users’ personal information in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of the HKSAR. Data collected will be used only for legitimate academic or administrative purposes. For details, please refer to here.
11. Modification of Terms
McTecc may revise or update these Terms from time to time without prior notice. Updates will be published on the official website, and continued use after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised version
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR). Any disputes arising shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the HKSAR courts.
13. Language
In case of inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions, the English version shall prevail.
14. Emails and Communications
Any communications, suggestions, or feedback you send to McTecc via email, postal mail, or other means will be treated as non-confidential unless it contain personal data protected under McTecc’s Privacy Policy. McTecc may use feedback for service improvement or research purposes without obligation to provide compensation or credit. However, McTecc will not disclose, sell, or use any personal data for marketing or external purposes without prior consent.
